    New MakerBot Video

    The gang who does the Radar series over at Babelgum came by the BotCave and made this video. They used Nikon d90's and it turned out beautiful! Go to their site and check it out big.

    Ha, that must be the coolest thing since... since something that was cool some time ago.

    I can't imagine why no one did that before, it's a super excellent idea. Printing in 3D has been available for years in the prototyping industry but to take it into the home and for people to be able to share 3D objects that revolutionary.

    Think spare parts for toys that are broken, just download it from the manufacturer and print your own. You need to make it multi-color though, that would be really nice to have it print different parts of an object in different colors.
