Real Car Wars: Weaponizers

Update: Video teaser!
I played Dungeons and Dragons, but later my friends and I moved on to Car Wars. In this game, you had only so much money and you had to spend it on a car, armor, and weapons. Then you drover around an arena and shot each other and rolled dice for damage and accuracy.
Hours of fun. Seriously.
My friend Rusty Oliver runs the Hazard Factory and he has a show coming up called weaponizers where he basically goes into the desert with some other dangerous people and uses cars and explosives and big guns to create artwork. This is what Rusty has to say about it:
This is not the first time I have destroyed an automoblie. This is not the first, or last that I have put myself, or you, in jeapordy in order to produce things that I find beautiful, and to me, a common vehicle suffering under a withering hail of thirty caliber bullets is a beautiful thing indeed.
In all seriousness, we are at a juncture where it is socially useful to see cars destroyed gratuitously. We are already past the point where we can pretend that they are a viable technology. The automobile is a dangerous thing indeed, and my role in weaponizers has allowed me represent this salient fact to the world in terms it will understand and appreciate. The worship of the auto, the conflation of every desired social status and the internal combustion engine, the unending sermons pouring from the mouths of chrystler, GM, and whoever made the goddamn Hummer must, must end.
There is nothing sacred, nothing holy, and not much worthwhile about the automobile. In fact, the brief, open, relationship I have enjoyed with a variety of military grade weaponry, including the 30 cal 1919a Browning, Browning 50 cal, m134 minigun, ak47, and saiga 10k has opened my eyes to new ways of seeing, appreciating and exploring the artisitic pallete that a burning automobile can offer. Art is all about new ways of seeing, and I have briefly enjoyed the priviledge of looking at my art through cross-hairs, and smelling new possibilties in the acrid smoke of a burning pontiac.
So this is your chance to revel in the beauty and poetry of destruction. Watch it.

Would love to see a final episode battle with several cars taking on an ED-209 (robocop), Ogre Mark V (sjgames), or similar badass boss vehicle of the apocolypse.

I'm torn by my desire to make the world a better, more efficient and happy place... the dark side wells up and an overwhelming desire to grab a torch, heist an ElCamino and a bunch of ordinance. Where do I sign up?
omg! Car Wars rocked! I played it constantly for about 3 years. There was a Car war-ish video game for Apple //c that I also played constantly. We should totally create a CAR WARS revival group.
My bro, who is awesome and who I battled endlessly with many mad max destroyer car wars creations, pointed me to this http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/492 AutoDuel! yes! Now I need an iPhone version.
If using weapons and explosives to destroy cars is a form of art, well, then I would make a great artist, maybe the best artist of them all:))
