These paintings are layered
with up to twenty-five layers of paint spread on thick with a knife.
These
are all blind contour drawings which means that as I draw, I don't look
down at the paper. (I do look down when I choose where the next line
will begin).
The
Forgotten Works gallery challenged me to make thirty paintings in thirty
days
I've
learned how to knit. The one I'm wearing, I actually helped shear the
sheep, then I spun the wool and then knitted it!
I took these photos with all
sorts of modified cameras
including a pinhole polaroid
pro cam, a polaroid 4x5, and
a modified holga.
I've
made two little pink bunny puppet movies with friends.
These
are photos I took with my home-made cameras of my step-mom's very special
rare-breeds sheep.
In
the summer of 2002 I published a little book of poetry entitled "bees,
seeds, & stars." They're just sweet little poems, but I like
them.
I
make these adorable dolls with sad faces so that their owners will always
have something sadder than themselves.
