Waterfall Whidbey Island. From a photo of my family’s water feature. Much of my contemporary art comes from photography and the need to test out new Bantam Tools products. In this case, the Bantam Tools ArtFrame 2436. This artwork is made up of multiple pens of different shades of blue, plus black. All G2 pens. Each layer uses up at least one entire pen, about 1 kilometer of drawing per shade of blue. From 10 feet away, it appears photographic, but as you get closer you realize that the organic flowing water is made up entirely of straight line segments.
